I love the Moon

I like the light the moon kindly provides on the darkest of nights. It fights with the clouds to help us humans see in what would be complete darkness.

Sometimes it wins te nightly battle. Sometimes the clouds are too thick and theobscure it’s glowing face. But what ever the result of the nightly battle, the Moon returns the following night ready to do battle once again. Ready to glow! Are you as resilient as the moon? Do you glow after a hard time or do you hide? Do you help light the ath for others?

Your kids are learning from you! What are they learning?

In the park today I saw two parents of obviously different ethnic backgrounds. They were on bicycles both carrying children in child seats on the back of their respective bikes. The children were obviously of different ethnic backgrounds to each other. The parents were engaged in happy conversation unaware of the actions of the children they were carrying around the park. It was wonderful to see that race was not an issue. We could learn a lot from these kids.

The children were glowing. As the bikes drifted closer to eachother the children reached out to hold hands with eachother and make contact. They wanted to connect. Their parents had set a wonderful example. Ethnic background was unimportant and was not an issue. What invisible learned traits are you going to pass on to your children? Are they traits you want to perpetuate?

Get in Lane

On a big freeway there are lots of lanes. Each lane faster or slower than the next. Some people are in lanes they are moving to fast for, and others are in lanes that they are moving too slowly for. In life at different stages we are in different lanes, we are moving at different rates. Which lane are you in my fellow glowers?

If you feel you can go faster in life and do more, then go for it. If you are you are going to fast and feeling uncomfortable then perhaps you should consider changing for a slower lane. It is all about finding a lane that suits you. No point ending up on the hard shoulder or service lane becasue you were going to fast or too slowly for your abilities. Pick a lane that is for you and Glow for it!
