GLOWPUNK EVENT 1: CLIFF JUMPING (HOWTH,DUBLIN, IRELAND)

We arrived at Balscadden Carpark in Howth, Dublin, Ireland, just before 1pm and awaited Amrita Pai from India and Bethany Behrens from Colorado. Both students in U.C.D., who had agreed to join us for the first GLOWPUNK event. The objective of the events is show people what can be done on their doorstep. Our goal today was some seriously fun cliff jumping.A wonderful sport that involves no investment only a sense of adventure and some courage.  The water was a cool 11.5 celcius and 53 farenheit, not freezing but uncomfortable enough to get the adrenaline flowing and shake off the cobwebs of last nights session

We had 3 camera men. Derry 'O Sullivan, Daniel Dalton and Myself. Danny was rocking a new 60D that he recently won for a clever little video he made for a competition. here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOVRvda7UOs 

The only man doing fancy dives this day was Alex Cronin, my brother, who has recently won gold in the Masters High Diving Competitions of Ireland, so any black dot that is  upside down in mid air in these photos is my brother Alex... fair play to the big man.

We had been there about an hour when 2 locals rocked up and showed us some other jumping options. We had seen these jumping spots but weren't sure if they were do-able. They led by example and became our local guides, showing us what could be done, and pushed it to the limits. One fella called matthew was of course without wetsuit and set the bar pretty high for manlyness. Before living in Mexico I would have always jumped without a wetsuit for that extra kick but only being three days in Ireland I was still feeling the cold. Finally I manned up and shed the wetsuit and braved the final jump in the suit God gave me.

IRISH ACCENT - 'Feel' by David Lynch (Original)

I met David Lynch in Mexico while he was studying. I managed an Irish  Bar there that draws in the Irish students from time to time. David was one of them. I discovered he was a great singer and I mentioned that I like to make videos for you tube and proposed a collaboration. This is the result. A video shot in one take in my bathroom in my apartment in Guadalajara Mexico.  The song as you can see is called 'Feel.' It is a David Lynch original and as you can see this young man can sing. I expect to see great things from this man in the future. Looking forward to working with him again in the future. The video on you tube is doing pretty good and I am guessing with time he will have many videos on line that will blow the minds of his fans.
