         On the move he carried out an assesment, his mind working fluidly. Narrowing down the options as if instantaneously. He grabbed a hunting knife from his car and began gathering information from those around him as he cast his shoes off.

         At the same time an onlooker arrived with a length of rope and proceeded to tie one end around my grandfathers waist. Before anyone in the gathering crowd could grab the loose end of the safety rope Dr. Alexander Moore was fighting his way down to the trapped worker below. Those above could only watch the bubbles rise, the rope move, the splash from his dive fall and the ripples from his hasty rough but functional dive fade.  Was he the only glower at the scene? Speed was of the essence.... to be continued
